My equipment -- Nikon

My photographic journey started over 40 years ago, thanks to a Zenit EM that cost me £2 per week for 27 weeks from Littlewood’s  catalogue. This solid product from what was then the USSR ignited my passion for photography . I progressed from this make to Nikon my aim was to build a system with a premium brand

Never really looked back, the brand ticked off the main objective of building a lens system around Nikon Bodies . The bodies I’ve had prove to be reliable and effective . I’m a good example of someone that has Brand Loyalty , the camera market place is highly competitive but even when I converted to digital the lure of changing to Sony or Canon never appeared on the agenda , it had to be Nikon.

I do go off brand when it comes to lenses I’ve found Tokina produces some amazing glass, my go to lens for landscape is a 11-16mm F2.8 stunning image quality. For Macro the Tokina 100m F2.8 cannot be beat. So I’m not a total Nikon Fan Boy
